Congratulations! That is a great ku and pics! Saw his Self-Portrait and Starry Night in Manhattan at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, or MOMA, or the Whitney, can’t remember. It was in the late seventies or early eighties and I was the only one in the room too, but I didn’t get permission. However, I was a foot away and the texture was amazing as if the painting were alive! Another great impressionist that a recent good movie introduced me to and came from your current part of the woods, Turner. Do you have a poem about one of his paintings?
